The Ups (and downs) of one person photo/video:
The overwhelming feedback I received from couples getting married this season is the expense and a need to cut back on costs.
I got it… It's a challenge juggling the seemingly never ending costs of planning the most important and amazing day of your life… Your Wedding Day!
So despite being a bit unsure and a little skeptical of the idea at first, in an attempt to cut some costs for my clients while still providing them with beautiful timeless memories of their day, I made the decision to start filming and photographing weddings by myself .
And guess what????… From the very first wedding, my couples have absolutely loved their images and video and time and time again I continue to receive amazing feedback… And so began my career as a Hybrid Wedding Shooter.
While many weddings are captured utilising a 2, 3 or 4 person photography/videography team, not everyone wants 10,000 photos of their wedding or an exhaustively detailed video. Not to mention the expense and intensity of having a crew like that at your wedding.
If you’ve been to a wedding with a large photo/video team, especially as an introvert, you’ll know that having all those people with cameras in your, and your guests face can be intimidating and feel like a bit of a circus.
That’s where your hybrid shooter, one person team, storytelling ninja can be your low-key, unobtrusive solution. Especially for couples who are shy or just a little more laid back but are still wanting a few stunning shots of themselves along with their friends and loved ones AND a beautiful video (coz wedding videos are really special) to look back on for years to come.

'But, how do you get all of the important moments?'
Capturing important moments is my top priority. I set up tripods with cameras to ensure I capture all the action from multiple angles while I focus on the MOST important moments like the look on the grooms face when he first sees his beautiful bride, the first kiss and the smaller details you think no one will notice.
'Can one person really deliver high-quality photos AND video? Surely it’s too good to be true'
Absolutely I can? I’ve created a workflow based off years of experience mastering both photography and videography to provide exceptional value without compromising quality.
